Well it’s Wednesday again and in fact the last day of November. Which means the final day of NaNoWriMo. Some may be typing their hearts out trying to get those last words done to hit the goals, while others are sitting back relaxing or celebrating their earlier win. For me I managed to finish last night after pumping out the last four thousand words needed. While my novel isn’t quite done, it needs probably another twenty thousand words to finish it off, I am very excited to have completed the NaNoWriMo challenge for the second time. In total I wrote fifty thousand seven hundred and thirteen words. Not too shabby I must admit.
I’m actually somewhat surprised that I did get this done. Not that I couldn’t write fifty thousand words in a month, but that this month in particular has been filled with distractions and other things that seemed determined to interrupt every free moment I had that should have been used for writing. Somehow I managed to soldier through and pull off a win. Now I get to take a small break before finishing off this little project and moving on to something else. So for all of you who have completed your NaNoWriMo I say to you congratulations! For those who are not yet done, don’t give up! There’s still time to finish.
