It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

It was another slow reading week for me. Only finished one of the four books I had planned to read, though still working slowly at the remaining three.

Oregon Outback was an interesting read. It followed the lives of four brothers as they each find love, though they might not entirely be looking for it. Each story involved one brother, though there was a tie in to each of the other stories and the other brothers made their appearances along the way. Though classified as a romance there isn’t a lot of romance in it. The most you will find is one or two kisses in each story. So if you are looking for a romance novel with plenty of lusty scenes this is not the book for you. However it was still a good read and I would recommend it.

Not much has changed for my planned reads this week from what they had been last week. I am still working on finishing The Scorpio Races, I’ve made it a short way through Moonglow. Though I have pushed reading The Assassin’s Curse back a bit, instead choosing to work on Ironskin first.

Well I didn’t actually finish any books last week. For shame! I know, I know, I am a terrible person. So instead I will list the books I finished two or so weeks ago. Most of these books will have reviews posted in the coming weeks as I have been busy with some house work and haven’t had the time to really sit down and post anything lately.

Those books which I plan to read this week are as followed. And again reviews will be placed on temporary hold while I sort out some work on the house, then they will be posted in a big catch up review session.

I’ve been working on The Scorpio races for a little bit now and have been enjoying it, though life has kept me from finishing it so far. Oregon Outback, Moonglow and The Assassin’s Curse were all provided to me by the publishers for review and so I plan on working on them next instead of choosing books from my own personal bookshelf.
